Our personnel may be one of the first people an employee, visitor, executive, customer, or member of the public encounters. Their conduct should reinforce the client's standards, not undermine them.

Ironwood Risk Group was founded by Nicholas Pellegrino, President, and is led alongside Cesar Gomez, Vice President and Senior Consultant.

Ironwood's leadership experience spans military service, federal corrections, private security, executive protection, emergency response, training, and organizational security consulting.

Pellegrino's background includes five years in federal corrections with specialized-unit experience; and more than a decade in private security and protective operations.

Gomez's background included eight years of service in the United States Marine Corps, including three combat deployments and over a decade in private security and training.

Leadership experience within Ironwood has included executive and high-profile protection, security operations management, elevated-risk assignments, emergency response, training, and advising organizations on practical measures to reduce security and liability exposure.

That experience informs Ironwood's operating philosophy, but the company is intentionally built around repeatable processes, defined standards, supervision, documentation, and accountability rather than dependence on any one individual.

Ironwood personnel operate within established expectations for communication, documentation, escalation, appearance, conduct, and decision-making. Leadership oversight and operational supervision are incorporated into our approach so clients receive a consistent standard of service across assignments.
